The Nadgir Education Society, established in 1981 by S.M.M. Nadgir and a team of educationists, was founded with the vision of serving Karnataka's higher education needs. The society started its journey by establishing an engineering institute in Rajajinagar, Bangalore, the same year. Over the decades, the institute has expanded significantly, growing into a well-known educational hub with over 1,000 students. NIET provides external diploma and AMIE courses and offers coaching for BE I & II-year students. It is renowned for its focus on academics, extracurricular growth, and the development of robust training, placement, library, laboratory, and workshop facilities.

Courses Offered and Fees:

1. Diploma Programs

• Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Telecommunication Engineering.

• Fees: Approx. ₹25,000 to ₹35,000 per annum.

Undergraduate Programs (B.E.)

Admissions Process:

• Eligibility:

  • For Diploma: 10th pass or equivalent.

  • For B.E.: 10+2 with a minimum of 45% (40% for reserved categories).

• Entrance Exam:

  • B.E. admissions through KCET, COMEDK, or management quota.

  • Direct admissions for diploma courses.

• Procedure:

  • Visit the admission office or the official website.

  • Submit documents such as marks cards, identity proof, and entrance exam scores.

Hostel Facilities:

• Separate hostels for boys and girls within the campus.

• Amenities: Furnished rooms, mess, internet, 24-hour security.

• Annual hostel fees: ₹50,000–₹60,000 (including food).

Placements:

• A dedicated placement cell helps students secure jobs in reputed companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, and startups.
