The Nadgir Education Society, established in 1981 by S.M.M. Nadgir and a team of educationists, was founded with the vision of serving Karnataka's higher education needs. The society started its journey by establishing an engineering institute in Rajajinagar, Bangalore, the same year. Over the decades, the institute has expanded significantly, growing into a well-known educational hub with over 1,000 students. NIET provides external diploma and AMIE courses and offers coaching for BE I & II-year students.
