Velagapudi Ramakrishna Siddhartha Engineering College (VRSEC), established in 1977, is a premier self-financed engineering institution located in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. In 2024, it was declared a deemed-to-be university under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. VRSEC has been consistently ranked among the top engineering colleges in India. VRSEC offers merit-based scholarships across all programs, covering up to 30% of the intake in respective courses on a first-come, first-served basis. The continuation of scholarships in subsequent years requires students to maintain a minimum of 75% attendance and a 7.5 CGPA without backlogs.
The college provides separate, secure hostel accommodations for both boys and girls, accommodating over 725 students. The hostels are well-furnished with spacious rooms, attached bathrooms, and a large dining hall supported by a hygienic kitchen. The institute ensures 100% accommodation for female students.
